When he saw first Szent György-hegy, the hill that now gives home to their estate, he fell in love with it. The spirit and the untouched nature of the place has change his life forever. István use of organic, natural and biodynamic methods highlights the terroir and the indigenous grape varieties of the region. They preserve the original personality of the grape and the pure minerality of the volcanic soil. He is without doubt one of the most talented winegrowers of his generation. His Pinot Noir and in particular ‘Atlas’ is a great wine, which, with its own identity, can compete with the great Burgundian terroirs. Precision and balance rarely seen in Hungary.
